Brown Street Park
The Brown Street Park includes the Spring City Pool Complex, a children’s playground, tennis courts, and a gazebo. Numerous community events are held here including the Spring City Easter Egg Hunt and the Summer Concert Series.
Hall Street Basketball Courts
Located directly behind Borough Hall, the Hall Street Basketball Courts feature two full-size courts and are available to residents for practice or pick-up games.
Poplar Street Park
The Poplar Street Park features two swing sets for young children.
Hidden between the Schuylkill River and the Schuylkill River Trail is Spring City’s Riverfront Park. Residents can access the park from Bridge Street or Gay Street. The park features a trail for hiking or mountain biking and access to the Schuylkill River for fisherman.
The Schuylkill River Trail
The Schuylkill River Trail runs along the river and features a crushed stone path for walking, jogging and biking. The trail is owned and maintained by Chester County. Learn more about the Schuylkill River by clicking here.
The Spring City Parks and Recreations Committee
The Spring City Parks and Recreations Committee is made up of council members and residents. The committee organizes the Easter Egg Hunt, the Music and Market Festival and the Christmas Tree Lighting. The committee meets the third Thursday of the month at borough hall. Residents are encouraged to share their ideas with the committee.
Events for 2017
