Boat Launch to the Schuylkill River

The boat launch is located at the end of Gay Street and provides access for boats, kayaks and fishing along the Schuylkill River. Grant applications for boat launch improvements are being submitted to the state and county.

Brown Street Park

The Brown Street Park includes the Spring City Pool Complex, a children’s playground, tennis courts, and a gazebo. Numerous community events are held here including the Spring City Easter Egg Hunt and the Summer Concert Series.

Hall Street Basketball Courts

Located directly behind Borough Hall, the Hall Street Basketball Courts feature two full-size courts and are available to residents for practice or pick-up games.

Poplar Street Park

The Poplar Street Park features two swing sets for young children.

Riverfront Park

Hidden between the Schuylkill River and the Schuylkill River Trail is Spring City’s Riverfront Park. Residents can access the park from Bridge Street or Gay Street. The park features a trail for hiking or mountain biking and access to the Schuylkill River for fisherman.

The Schuylkill River Trail

The Schuylkill River Trail runs along the river and features a crushed stone path for walking, jogging and biking. The trail is owned and maintained by Chester County. Learn more about the Schuylkill River by clicking here.
