Michael Weiss – Mayor
 

Donald Shaner – Council President

Council President Donald Shaner is serving his fourth term on borough council. 
 

Christopher Yocum – Council Vice President

A Borough resident for over 30 years, Chris joined Borough Council in September of 2021. He is an Eagle Scout, an active member of the Spring-Ford Masonic Lodge No. 553 in Royersford where he is serving in the Officer Line, and is also a member of Tall Cedars Forest No. 34 in Spring City. Chris is currently a Senior DevOps Engineer and an avid technology buff. He enjoys music, movies, TV shows, video games, shooting sports, furthering his education within the technology industry, and spending time with his family and friends.
 

Paul KernCouncilor

Paul Kern has been a Spring City resident for 27 years and a lifelong resident of the Spring-Ford area. Kern has been active with the Liberty Fire Company, serving as the president for 13 years. He also serves as a Deacon at the First United Church of Christ, Spring City. He has been employed as telephone technician for 28 years.
 

Daniel Bauman, Sr. – Councilor

Daniel Bauman Sr. has been a Spring City resident for 64 years. Bauman has been active with the Liberty Fire Company for 41 years serving as firefighter, assistant chief and driver. He also served on the Spring City Planning Commission. Councilor Bauman retired from Bell Atlantic after a 31 year career.
 

Dawn Chellel

For over 25 years, Dawn Chellel has been a noteworthy leader throughout her career in the operations and marketing fields. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design with a concentration in business/marketing helping her efficiently manage businesses and projects alike. Dawn also takes great pride in her community which powered her decision to run for borough council. In her spare time, Dawn is a dedicated artist and avid history buff.  Dawn would like to utilize her experience and passions to create a better Spring City for all its residents.
